Seems UChicago significantly changed the AP score requirement for giving either general education or elective credit. Until last year, a score of 3, 4, or 5 was enough to get credits for many AP classes. But for newer students, now for almost all AP classes a score of 5 is needed to get credit.
And also for some cases like AP calculus BC, a score of 5 gives only 1 course credit instead of 2 in past.
